NATURE AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This contractual document governs the sale of handmade decorative pieces and furniture in wrought iron, iron, and brass offered by SALCEDO ARTESANÍA through this website to all individuals of legal age, with full capacity to contract, and acting as consumers, subject to the limitations and restrictions imposed by these General Terms and Conditions.
The purchase of any product or service through the Website implies the reading, knowledge, and express and unreserved acceptance by the customer of these Terms of Sale, which shall be deemed automatically incorporated into the contract concluded through the online acceptance of these terms when the website user gives their consent. These Terms of Sale constitute a legally binding agreement between SALCEDO ARTESANÍA and the buyer or user of the website. Failure to accept these Terms of Sale will prevent the sale from taking place.
SALCEDO ARTESANÍA reserves the right to unilaterally modify each and every obligation set out in these Terms of Sale without prior notice, so users of the website are advised to read them each time they wish to contract any of the products or services offered. Each contract shall be governed by the terms in force at the time of its execution, and any modifications shall not have retroactive effect.
The language of the contract via this website is Spanish.
In accordance with Law 34/2002 of July 11 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, before purchasing any product, the buyer has the right to know its essential characteristics. SALCEDO ARTESANÍA provides the customer with sufficient information about the items offered through this website, including descriptions and images of the products, doing its utmost to ensure the photos displayed are as close to reality as possible, although some variation may occur due to lighting, image quality, etc.
ACCESS TO THE WEBSITE
To purchase SALCEDO ARTESANÍA products through this Website, the customer must be an individual of legal age and provide SALCEDO ARTESANÍA with all the required personal data necessary to manage the business relationship, being solely responsible for the accuracy of such data.
Access to the website is subject to the legal provisions in force at the time, as well as principles of good faith and lawful use by the user, expressly prohibiting any conduct that may be detrimental to the website or third parties.
To purchase SALCEDO ARTESANÍA products, the user must register on the website by creating a user account. To do this, the user must freely and voluntarily provide the requested personal data, which will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 (LOPDGDD), and as detailed in the Website’s Privacy Policy.
Once the account has been created, the user agrees to use it diligently and not to make it available to third parties, as well as to report any loss, theft, or unauthorized third-party access so that SALCEDO ARTESANÍA can immediately block the account.
The user guarantees the accuracy of the personal data provided and is responsible for notifying any changes. SALCEDO ARTESANÍA reserves the right to exclude any user who has provided false information from its services, without prejudice to any legal action that may be taken.

CONTRACTUAL TERMS
Online purchases on www.farolesdeforja.es (Artesanía Salcedo Sevilla Online) are available for deliveries in Spain, Europe, and the United States to persons over 18 years of age. All transactions are processed in euros.
1. PURCHASE PROCESS AND ACCEPTANCE
SALCEDO ARTESANÍA products are available through the online store. The purchase process is simple. Add the items to your shopping cart and follow the steps to complete your order.
If you prefer to buy by phone or have any issues during the purchase process, call (+034) 954 215 457 from Monday to Friday, 10:00–13:30 and 17:30–20:30, or on Saturdays from 10:00–13:30.
Once you begin the purchase process, applicable taxes and shipping costs will be calculated based on the information provided and the selected products. In the event of a return, the buyer will be responsible for the return shipping costs. After selecting the desired product, a summary of the purchase will be shown in your cart, including quantities and total cost with VAT.
To place an order from the cart, follow these steps:
- Select the product and quantity, and add to the cart.
- Verify shipping information and transport costs (including taxes).
- Review the items in your cart.
- Enter billing information and choose a payment method.
- Place the order (Buy).
Accepting the purchase process is required to complete the order, which includes checking the box “I have read and accept…” before proceeding to payment.

ARTESANIA SALCEDO offers various products, including immediately available items that are not customized.
However, we can personalize any product. If you want a CUSTOMIZED PRODUCT or one with SPECIAL FEATURES, please use the special request form or contact us by phone or email.
2. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
All orders placed through the website are subject to product availability. If the order cannot be fulfilled, the customer will be notified via email.
We reserve the right to remove any product from this website at any time or to modify its content, unless the purchase has already been completed.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
At ARTESANIA SALCEDO, we only sell handcrafted, handmade pieces. Therefore, final measurements may vary slightly from those stated.
3. PRICES
The sale prices of SALCEDO ARTESANÍA products are listed on the website and are expressed in euros. Shipping costs are detailed in the shipping policy and include any applicable transport charges, which are communicated before completing the purchase and itemized in each transaction before payment.
Although we strive to ensure all listed prices are correct, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you a solution.
The prices on this website include VAT but exclude delivery charges, which will be added to the total amount due as set out in our pricing and delivery policy. Prices are subject to change at any time, but (except as stated above) any such changes will not affect orders for which we have already sent a dispatch confirmation.
4. VALUE-ADDED TAX
In accordance with the provisions of Article 68 of Law 37/1992 of 28 December on Value Added Tax, the supply of goods shall be deemed to take place within the territory to which Spanish VAT applies. The applicable VAT rate shall be that legally in force at any given time, depending on the specific item in question.
5. PAYMENT METHODS
The same payment methods apply to all products available on our website. The payment methods for purchases made via our online shop are as follows:
- Credit/debit card. If you have any problems, we’ll be happy to help if you call us on 954215457. When you place your order, please provide us with your credit card details. Once we’ve verified that you’re the legitimate cardholder, we’ll ask your credit card company to process the payment immediately after the order has been placed. The credit card company automatically processes the payment and your card is debited.
- When you click on “GO TO PAYPAL”, you will be redirected to a secure page where you can pay using your PayPal account. Regarding payment via PayPal, please note that if you select this payment method, during the purchase process you will be redirected to the online provider’s website (PayPal), where the payment is made. To pay for your purchase via PayPal, you must be registered, log in using your login details and confirm the payment order. If you do not have an account and select this payment method, you will need to create a PayPal account. After placing your order in the online shop, SALCEDO ARTESANÍA will request that PayPal initiate the payment transaction. You will receive further information during the ordering process. PayPal processes the payment transaction automatically.
- Direct bank transfer. If you wish to pay for your order by bank transfer, please contact us by telephone on 954215457 or by email at info@farolesdeforja.es. *Your order will not be processed until the payment has been credited to our account.
Your personal data will be used to process your order, improve your experience on this website and for other purposes set out in our privacy policy. The cardholder is responsible for transactions carried out on the website, and SALCEDO ARTESANÍA is not liable for any irregularities in such transactions.
5.1. Information processed by the seller tratadas por el vendedor.
SALCEDO ARTESANÍA does not have access to customers’ confidential payment details; therefore, for each new purchase you make, you will be asked to provide your bank details or your PayPal login details if that is your chosen payment method.
The user warrants to SALCEDO ARTESANÍA that they have the necessary authorisations to use the payment methods they select whilst placing their order. Order confirmation is subject to approval by the payment processing centre selected by SALCEDO ARTESANÍA. In the event of refusal by the bank, the order will not be finalised and will be cancelled. As part of the fight against online fraud, details relating to the order and the customer’s payment method may be passed on by SALCEDO ARTESANÍA to any third party for verification purposes.
SALCEDO ARTESANÍA, in collaboration with the bank responsible for processing electronic payments, monitors all orders validated on the website. Consequently, any order that includes a delivery address different from the customer’s billing address may be verified by SALCEDO ARTESANÍA. In this context, SALCEDO ARTESANÍA may request from the buyer any information and documents necessary for the fulfilment of the order: proof of the buyer’s address and/or that of the person named for the delivery address, proof of the bank details provided at the time of purchase, etc. These requests are made by email or by telephone.
6. SHIPPING POLICY AND COSTS.
Our product is handcrafted. Although we aim to dispatch it as quickly as possible, the unique characteristics of the manufacturing process mean that each piece has its own production time.
The products in our catalogue are made to order and/or customised; SPECIAL REQUESTS are produced at the customer’s request. The estimated delivery time is 30 to 45 working days.
The delivery charges to mainland Spain are as follows:
- For orders over one hundred and seventy-five euros (€175, including VAT), no delivery charges will apply and delivery will be free of charge.
- For orders below the amount stated above, the delivery charge will be nine euros and ninety cents (€9.90, including VAT).
As for deliveries to the Balearic Islands, they are as follows:
- For orders over two hundred and fifty euros (€250, including VAT), delivery will be free of charge
- For deliveries to the Balearic Islands with a value of less than two hundred and fifty euros (€250, including VAT), the delivery charge will be nineteen euros and ninety cents (€19.90, including VAT).
For deliveries to the Canary Islands, Europe and the United States, please check delivery times with the ARTESANIA SALCEDO team before making your purchase.
We are unable to deliver orders to military bases or PO boxes.
During special periods such as public holidays, promotional periods, sales or special events, we cannot guarantee delivery within the specified timeframe, as deliveries may be delayed.

Once you have completed the purchase process and your payment has been accepted, your order will be dispatched from our warehouses.
SALCEDO ARTESANÍA shall not be liable for any errors in the delivery of the order where these are caused by errors, inaccuracies or missing details in the address provided by the buyer.
For the purposes of these terms and conditions, ‘delivery’ shall be deemed to have taken place, or the order shall be deemed to have been delivered, upon signature of the delivery receipt. Delivery shall be deemed to have taken place from the moment the order has been made available to the customer at the delivery address specified by the customer.
If you notice that the goods have been damaged in transit, we recommend that you report these defects to the carrier as soon as possible and contact us immediately.
In the event of a product return, the buyer shall bear the costs of returning the product, as set out in the returns and cancellation policy.
7. TRANSFER OF RISK AND TITLE TO THE PRODUCTS
SALCEDO ARTESANÍA shall remain responsible for the transfer of ownership of the purchased products until the moment of delivery. SALCEDO ARTESANÍA shall not accept any liability should the product fail to be delivered due to the buyer providing false, inaccurate or incomplete details.
Delivery shall be deemed to have taken place once the carrier has made the goods available to the buyer and the buyer has signed the delivery note.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to check the goods received upon delivery and to set out any reservations or complaints that may be justified on the delivery note.
8. RETURNS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Our main objective is your satisfaction and the quality of the final product. In accordance with the provisions of Articles 102 et seq. of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, consumers and users are entitled to exercise their right of withdrawal.
The items sold by SALCEDO ARTESANÍA via this website are of high quality, however, if for any reason the customer is not satisfied with the items upon receipt of the order or does not wish to keep them, they have a period of 14 calendar days from the date of receipt to exercise their right of withdrawal, as set out in Article 68 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, which approves the consolidated text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, and Article 71 of Law 3/2014 of 27 March, amending the consolidated text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws.
8.1. Exercising the right of withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the buyer must notify the seller of their decision to withdraw from the contract by means of an unambiguous statement.
To do so, the purchaser must notify SALCEDO ARTESANÍA of their decision by completing the withdrawal form provided by SALCEDO ARTESANÍA for this purpose via this website. As indicated, you must complete the form and send it within the stipulated period to the attention of SALCEDO ARTESANÍA, either by post to the address: C/ Cuesta del Rosario 16-C, 41004, Seville, or by email to info@farolesdeforja.es. The written notification must include the order number relating to the items you wish to return and must clearly identify the items to be returned, as specified on the form.
8.2. Delivery charges
Article 107.1 of the Consumer Protection Act stipulates that, once the returned product has been received at the specified address, the trader must refund the consumer the cost of the product plus the delivery charges, using the same method of payment as that used to make the purchase.
It is worth noting here that there is an important exception which would apply if the buyer, having been offered a choice of delivery options at the time of purchase, had not selected the least expensive option. In that case, ARTESANIA SALCEDO may retain the difference between the delivery method selected by the buyer and the least expensive option.
A refund of the amount paid, including standard delivery charges, will be made within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date on which notice of withdrawal is received, using the same payment method as that used for the original transaction, unless the buyer specifies otherwise. However, the refund may be withheld until the goods have been received or until the buyer has provided proof of their return, whichever occurs first.
In order for the buyer to exercise their right to return the item, it must be in the same condition as when it was dispatched, and in its original packaging (if it is not returned in its original packaging, the item’s value may be reduced). SALCEDO ARTESANÍA will check that the returned product is in order, and reserves the right not to issue a refund if it finds that the items do not match those sent or that the return has not been made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Returns must be made using the same box or envelope used for delivery or, failing that, in a similar container that ensures the products are returned in perfect condition. Please do not forget to include the withdrawal form.
Once the returned items have been received, and after checking their condition, SALCEDO ARTESANÍA will refund the amount in accordance with the payment method used to make the purchase, within a maximum of 14 days from receipt of the return, undertaking to refund this amount together with the delivery charges incurred by the buyer at the time of purchase. Notwithstanding the above, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or until you have provided proof that they have been returned.
SALCEDO ARTESANÍA will not accept returns after 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the item (the period specified by law for this purpose).
Should the return be due to SALCEDO ARTESANÍA having mistakenly sent an item other than the one ordered, SALCEDO ARTESANÍA will cover the costs of dispatch and return provided that the customer notifies us within a maximum of 14 calendar days of receiving the parcel, offering either a replacement with the item originally ordered or a refund of the amount paid should the former not be possible due to stock unavailability. Refunds will be made via the same payment method used by the customer.
8.3. Return costs
The buyer’s main obligation when exercising the right of withdrawal is to return the product within 14 days of expressing their intention to do so. On occasion, this may incur costs associated with returning the product to the retailer’s warehouse or shop.
The law states that the consumer is responsible for these costs, and ARTESANIA SALCEDO makes this clear during the purchase process, stating that, in the event of withdrawal, the consumer will bear the costs of returning the product.
8.4. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
In accordance with the provisions of Article 103 of Royal Decree-Law 1/2007, the right of withdrawal shall not apply, amongst other cases, to:
- (c) The supply of goods made to the consumer’s or user’s specifications or clearly personalised.
Consequently, no returns or cancellations will be accepted for orders containing personalised products, which have been specifically made to the customer’s specifications, unless there is a manufacturing defect.
Our products are handcrafted and most of our items are made to order, so it is not possible to return them or exchange them for another item.
Should the product be faulty, please contact us. If you need to return a faulty item, you remain responsible for the product until it arrives at our warehouse; therefore, it must be returned using the same packaging and security measures as were used for delivery. To make this process easier, please contact us and we will assist you throughout the process.

9. WITHDRAWAL FORM
The Buyer may exercise their right of withdrawal with SALCEDO ARTESANÍA by completing the withdrawal form provided on the website. SALCEDO ARTESANÍA will then be responsible for processing the Buyer’s cancellation and must arrange the refund within 14 calendar days of the date on which SALCEDO ARTESANÍA was notified.

10. LIABILITY
The user undertakes not to cause, either maliciously or intentionally, any damage or harm that may impair or alter the website itself, nor to introduce or disseminate so-called ‘computer viruses’ that may result in unauthorised alterations to the website’s content or systems. This undertaking shall govern the use of content in accordance with the law, public morality and public order; the user shall not copy, reproduce, distribute, transfer, transform or modify the content without the prior consent of SALCEDO ARTESANÍA.
In this regard, SALCEDO ARTESANÍA accepts no liability whatsoever for damages of any kind that may arise from the presence of computer viruses introduced by third parties or from the presence of other harmful elements in the content transmitted, disseminated, stored, received, obtained, made available or accessible through the services provided on its web pages.
SALCEDO ARTESANÍA accepts no responsibility for the content, information, opinions or comments published on the website, nor shall it be liable for any use the user makes of such information.
The parties shall not be held liable for any breach attributable to force majeure. Fulfilment of the obligation shall be deferred until the relevant circumstances have ceased and the situation giving rise to the force majeure has come to an end.
11. WARRANTIES
Unless expressly agreed otherwise below, statutory liability for defects shall apply. Furthermore, the warranty period for a product purchased online is three years if the purchase was made on or after 1 January 2022.
12. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA.
All information provided by the customer will be used to process their orders correctly and to keep them informed by email or post. The customer confirms that they are aware of the terms and conditions set out in the Privacy and Data Protection Policy published on this website.
Any personal data received will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD), and as set out in the Website’s Privacy Policy.
SALCEDO ARTESANÍA has implemented the security measures required by law and undertakes to keep all data provided confidential, except for that which must be disclosed in order to perform the contracted service, as detailed in the Privacy and Data Protection clause published on this website. The user declares that the information contained regarding the technical specifications of the items sold via this website, as well as its General Terms and Conditions and General Terms and Conditions of Sale, is ample and sufficient to rule out any error in the formation of their consent.
The user expressly declares, on their own responsibility and for all relevant purposes, that they have read these Terms and Conditions of Sale, as well as the Website’s General Terms and Conditions, its Legal Notice, Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy, and that they understand and accept them. For contractual purposes, you consent to the use of this electronic means of communication and acknowledge that any contract, notice, information and other communications we send to you electronically fulfil the legal requirements of being in writing. This condition shall not affect your statutory rights.
Unless otherwise specified, we may send you communications either by email or to the postal address you provided when placing an order. Notifications shall be deemed to have been duly served when sent to the postal or email address provided by you. 16. APPLICABLE LEGISLATION AND JURISDICTION
The use of our website and any contracts for the purchase of products via that website shall be governed by Spanish law.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the use of the website or with the aforementioned contracts shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
If you are entering into this contract as a consumer, nothing in this clause shall affect the rights to which you are entitled as a consumer under current legislation.
17. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be deemed invalid or prove impossible to fulfil, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
